Wake up at 3h30 and leaving at 4h30.

The sky was so clean, and without any artificial light, the stars were amazingly shining!

I was wondering how he was able to drive the boat with so few light, just a *lamp

we arrived one hour later in the rio Napo and waited for the boat to Coca. We played like the pirates. :) As the boat approached we asked him to stop and and my friends boarded.

I was with 4 natives the parents and their daughter and their son in law. The father had stuff to do in Rocafuerte, so luckily they bought me their and i had not pay any extra thing. The son Rene and her wife spend the morning with me. We took a picture and we found Rene only brother with email so i can send it. yes not so easy in the communities in the middle of the jungle to have internet :D only in rocafuerte. But they have some phone landlines now. Celular connection only for petroleum companies...

As soon as we arrived i booked a hostel for 12$ with internet... no need to say since Coca no hot water.

I start searching for boat to Pantoja. If someone take you there explicitly it coast 50$, so the trick is to find to some peruvians returning their or some locales going there for other purpose. Finally i found a family going this direction and negotiate a price of 20$. First i thought they were like monjas, but later i understood they are part of a religious groupe the Israelitas, some evangelical.

Consegui una lancha por la tarde.

We crossed the boarder with some negotiations. Indeed the Peruvian guard coat was claming that my boat had no authorisation from the rocafuerte port. We also laughed :) Indeed, the guard coast asked me how i spoke so well Spanish. I replied i had a Spanish girlfriend for 5 years, and the i still repeated the mistake with another Spanish girl. (the two girls were extraordinary good girls...so only for the sake of the joke). Then the atmosphere was more relaxed and we passed.

Pantoja: si Cusco era el ombligo del mundo, Pantoja es el culo del mundo.

There is no internet, no data 3G, no frutes, no variety of food. So for someone with gastric problems it was complicated!

Something good, the custom are quick and the girl was really a nice person, really welcoming. In case be aware, it close at 5pm so go as you can. I my case I arrived at 4pm and i was going to leave the day after at 5am. So no time to loose.

This day I had then to pay an extra hotel but this one was cheap 15soles (5 dolares).

It was smelling moffo*.
