A friend of mine was asking me to report to her if a girl alone can do the same trip. Of course I am not a girl and we don t have the same perception of the danger but I think it is safe. 

Coca by day is for sure but by night I don t. Then Rocafuerte they are mainly nativos and they are peaceful. Pantoja I saw more drunk guys so some potential annoying people. But as everybody knows everyone in these places I guess not too much danger. 

Actually to corroborate my says, I met a Vietnamese girl traveling alone since Coca ... and all the world. 

More recently I met a Italo-nipón girl. She is also traveling since 2years! 

So girls travel more than guys :D that’s my conclusion.
